I didn't just find any site where someone said their car is fast, I posted the link to that one because I know the guy and raced him a few times. He lives in the philly area near me and I've seen him race a bunch of times and I raced him 3 times and lost every time. I ran a 13.0 in the quarter, and he consistently beat me every time we raced. I knew he had to be in the 12's, and when he brought his car to Atco the first time he pulled off 12.8 His car is auto, too, so his results are consistent. But about the power of LS1's, check out their trap speed in the results they get. They're all pretty high, from 106-108 mph. I ran a 13.0 at 107 mph, so it's no surprise that a car that can launch better than a Z can run a high 12 at the same trap speed.
